Thanksgiving Week
Lessee… The first half of the week went about as usual, nothing especially interesting.
Thursday I spent Thanksgiving with the family playing with the Niece & Nephew.
Friday, I wanted nothing to do with “Black Friday” so I stayed home and did a BUNCH of podcasts. I did the Daily Buddhism #33 first, which I’ll put online Saturday morning as usual. Then I set up all the articles and images for Issue #8 of the Weekly Buddhism. It’s looking a bit skimpy this week at only 10 pages, but it does have everything I promised it would; maybe I’ll find something else to put in before it’s “due” on Sunday. Finally, I did THREE podcasts for the Arcane Tales site, and found several additional stories for the next time I’m in the mood to do some of those. Sometime this weekend (probably tomorrow) I need to record Chapters 51-81 of the Tao for the Tao of the Day site. I did the first 50 chapters months ago, but now it’s time for some more.
The Daily Chess Lesson website went live on Monday, and so far I have introduceed the board and four of the pieces. Everything has gone smoothly, except that I changed the email delivery system on Tuesday. Looks pretty good now. Full-color diagrams and images make the emails much easier to follow. Next week I’ll finish up the rest of the pieces and a few special moves. That’ll cover all the basics.
